Toby J Cole.
We are they and they are us, always there without the fuss.
Working hard, pay our way, look out for you on your rainy day.
Don’t vote for gain, in us you can trust, do the right thing without the fuss.
Spare us a thought when you moan so loud, we’re the silent ones in the crowd.
We watch you scream the left and right, no peaceful way always fight.
We shake our heads plod along, not interested in your celebrity song.
You know it all or so you think, an eye for glory your following stink.
We the silent tiptoe past, ignore the loud mouths, they never last.
You’re terrified of us you crazy few, divide and conquer your ignorant stew.
But we are watching, plainly see, your self- interested ways ‘me, me, me.’
All you say is ‘I know best’, never stop on your maniac quest.
But we’re still watching, quietly observe, the silent majority we hold our nerve.
Social media your bravest voice, but you forget the silent when we find our voice.
That voice still silent never a frown, you never understand that when we take you down.
One vote per person is all it takes. The silent majority weighs the stakes.
Then does what’s best, we always do, the silent majority, we think of you.
